barbeques, ALA maintains a full calendar throughout the year. The
Aiken area sports a large and diverse equestrian population,
providing us endless opportunities to promote and enjoy side saddle!

Under Saddle - formal hunting attire, appointments and general
overall appearance of
horse and rider 25% to be judged at the walk, trot & canter
both ways of the ring on performance and soundness with emphasis on
manners 75%.
Class 17: Ladies
Sidesaddle Hack - Walk, trot & canter both ways of the ring may be
asked for a hand gallop. To jump 2 cross rails.
Class 18: Ladies
Sidesaddle over Fences - 4 fences on the low side off the right
rein.
Ladies and Junior championship to be awarded.
